Stella 9 months

Stella was 9 months the day after Thanksgiving. She had her 9 month checkup yesterday. She is really moving now. She loves being on the ground crawling and exploring. She is trying to pull up but she definitely will be by the end of the month. She is starting to learn the word "no". She just looks at me like "what did I do". She is starting to grab for Brooklyns' toys and favorite possessions. Stella is going to hold her own but there may be a fight over the stroller and purse. She had her first fever that came along with roseola. That was a little bumpy but we are getting back on track. She is sleeping really well and I rarely hear her at night. She still does not like eating solid foods very much but she is working on it.

She is a good baby but she may have more punch than Brooklyn. Not quite as laid back especially in the car on road trips. She is not as fussy at night because she is busy playing now. It is fun to see her exploring and I can't wait to see her personality come out more.

9 months stats

Weight: 16 lbs 12 oz (14%)
Height: 27.5 in (45%)

She is still a little bigger than Brooklyn was.

Mom's League Christmas Party

We had a lot of fun at the Christmas party but I was skeptical when we walked in because Brooklyn was not too sure but she quickly warmed up. She was not too sure last year either. it seems everything is just flying by and I have no time to soak it all in. Am I even going to remember this (my children being young)? I am usually glad everyone is dressed and acting decent. Santa was there but I decided not to do pic and I forgot the money for the pics but we are planning to get some other pictures with the man in the red suit. Stella did get a pic with Santa holding her and she did pretty good. No crying but as you will see she is checking him out.

Snowing in Texas?

Yes, it was snowing in Texas. We usually have one snow in Dallas each season but it is still weird because I did not grow up with it snowing. It did not accumulate so there was not much to play in.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so many things to be thankful for this year. We are thankful for Brooklyn and Stella and that they are healthy, our parents and their health after a rough couple of years, and the fact that we are so blessed with not many hardships like so many families are experiencing.

Well we hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year for my family. The Fanning Crew stayed here, along with Travis, my dad, and my aunt. My mom and Kim and Rob were here a lot and joined us for the Thanksgiving meal. It was amazing that we got lunch on the table. Miller and Finn were both sick and it was already crazy with 4 kids. Again it was crazy but it will be a great memory!

Now I think Brooklyn has gotten what Miller and Finn had which we think is Roseola. A high fever and then ends in a rash. Stella will probably be next. So much fun!

Crawling and Teething

This has been a big week. Stella got her first tooth last week and is getting her second one this week. She also started crawling officially. She is just getting the hang of it so she is not everywhere yet! Everyone got flu shots today so it was a little rough. Stella has also been having some issues with throwing up after feedings so I am not sure if she is sick or if the reflux is back. So we have put her back on reflux medicine and I hoping that will help.

Halloween weekend

Here are some other pics from the weekend.

Trick or Treat!

Brooklyn loved trick or treating! She did not want to come home she kept saying "Another house, no home". The Fanning Crew came down and we had a great weekend. Miller and Brooklyn rode in the wagon to trick or treat and Finn and Stella rode in the stroller. Brooklyn quickly decided she wanted to walk.
