Stella - 2 months

Stella has been doing great! She is now on reflux medicine and it has helped with spit ups and with attitude. She still cries a lot like most babies but she will go in her swing and lay on her playmat without crying. She is now sleeping 11-7 for 9 nights in a row so we are on a roll. This statement will probably backfire on me. I think Stella and Brooklyn are very similar so far but it was probably harder with Brooklyn b/c she was our first. The difference is the second time around you know it will get better.

Visit to Houston - Miller and Brooklyn 22 months

We went to Houston this weekend for the arrival of Finn Patrick Fanning, Brooklyn and Stella's cousin (pictures to come). Brooklyn played with her cousin Miller and had a great time. They loved bathtime. I asked Brooklyn what they were doing and she replied to me "bathtime" like duh mom! We did have a couple of feuds over toys and chairs but Brooklyn was able to tolerate this time without being terrified of Miller. We flew to Houston and it was quite interesting but still better than a 5-6 hour drive to Houston. Brooklyn is really into carrying her backpack, my purse or diaper bag all of which are heavy. She was very insistent and pitched a fit at one point to carry the bag and we had to walk 20 gates. She did not get to carry it that far. She is very friendly and waves to everyone and says hi!

Pony ride

We went to Brooklyn's friend Addyson's birthday party last weekend. She is in her playgroup and her mom took Stella's newborn pics. They had a petting zoo and pony rides at her party. She loved the pony rides and I was shocked. She still was not sure about the petting zoo.

Brooklyn loves to hold her sister and this is the only way to get her to take a picture. I put them in matching outfits yesterday for no special reason so I thought I would take some pics.

Easter Sunday

Brooklyn hunted Easter eggs inside since it was raining outside. She really has the hang of it now. She would shake them to see if they had anything in them. I put some m&ms in there and she would say "open" which is her favorite word these days. I got some pictures of them in their Easter dresses before church. Stella is 6 weeks now and is starting to smile. It makes it all worth it when they smile at you.

Mom's League Easter party

We had our Mom's League Easter party yesterday. It has been a great group for Brooklyn and I to be a part of. We have made some really good friends. This was Brooklyn's first Easter egg hunt. She knew what to do after I told her you put the eggs in the basket. I had Stella in tow via Baby Bjorn. I should have gotten a picture of that. I was lucky to just get ones of the egg hunter.

Stella's bath time - 4 weeks

This post is a little late but Stella was 4 weeks this past Friday. Stella is doing good. She is starting to go 4 hours between feeds at night. She really likes to be held. She is not as much of a swing girl as Brooklyn was. Brooklyn is loving on her more and more.

On the other hand Brooklyn turned 20 months on the same day and the last couple of days she has been a little toot. We could be starting the terrible 2's. We have to start cracking down.

We have started getting out more and learning how to get around with 2 has been a learning process. I am sure I will get it figured out.
