Memorial Day Weekend

Stella smiles!

Here are several photos of Stella smiling over the last couple of weeks. I caught the first glimpse of a smile at 6 weeks but now she is really smiling. She even smiles when Brooklyn comes up to her now. She really is watching any action that is going on. The last couple of nights we have had a dance party with Brooklyn and it keeps her entertained. Yea, if you can imagine a dance party at the Sparks household!

Stella at Gymboree

I took Stella to her first Gymboree class last week and she cried the whole time. This is about the same age when I took Brooklyn. We went this week and she was much better. Brooklyn goes to Adventure Kids Playcare while we are at Gymboree and loves it. It will be a great outing for Stella and I especially when she starts to enjoy it more.

Here are some random pics before church. Brooklyn has started wanting to go to "church" because she gets to play. After we told her Sunday we were going to church she kept saying it over and over.

Another Trip to Houston

Well we made another trip to Houston this weekend for our friend's John and Trinity son Ben's baptism. We are the godparents to Ben. Thanks to Heather and Clint for helping us this weekend. We are going to owe Kim and Rob and Heather and Clint big when they have kids. We saw our friends Clint and Evelyn and their new baby girl, Fiona. We had a surprise early birthday party for Heather also. We were busy. I did not get any pics of Ben of course.

Trip to the Zoo with 2

We went to the zoo last Wednesday. My first big outing with two. I have become much more adaptable with two. I feed Stella on a rock at the zoo. We had a good time but it is not a walk in the park with two. It is a lot of work but worth it. Her is a picture of Brooklyn and her friend Keira. Keira is going to be in Brooklyn's class next year.

Stella - 2 months

Stella has been doing great! She is now on reflux medicine and it has helped with spit ups and with attitude. She still cries a lot like most babies but she will go in her swing and lay on her playmat without crying. She is now sleeping 11-7 for 9 nights in a row so we are on a roll. This statement will probably backfire on me. I think Stella and Brooklyn are very similar so far but it was probably harder with Brooklyn b/c she was our first. The difference is the second time around you know it will get better.
